Arrival at Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe, your guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Look for your guide holding a sign with your name near the canopy tents after passing through immigration. Spend the day relaxing at the hotel or venture out with your guide to explore Entebbe's attractions.Night Stay in Hotel.

Entebbe to Kibale

On day two, you'll be transferred to Entebbe Airport for a flight to Kasese Airstrip near Kibale Forest National Park. Upon arrival, your guide/driver will be waiting to take you to the lodge. Alternatively, you can opt for a direct morning drive to Kibale Forest National Park with packed breakfast. In the afternoon, explore the Bigodi Swamp Walk near Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its rich biodiversity and natural scenery. Encounter various wildlife such as bush pigs, blue monkeys, baboons, and red colobus monkeys. Butterfly enthusiasts will be delighted by the abundance of colorful species here.Overnight stay at the hotel.

Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, embark on an exhilarating chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest National Park. The trek begins with a ranger briefing at Kanyanchu Visitor Center. You'll spend an hour with the chimpanzees, observing them foraging, climbing trees, and interacting. Other wildlife sightings may include Apalis, African Pitta, Crowned Eagle, warthogs, hippos, buffaloes, and forest elephants. After this thrilling experience, you'll drive for three hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park.Check-in to the lodge.

Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Enjoy a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you'll spot Cape buffalo, Uganda kob, waterbuck, warthog, lion, leopard, hyena, giant forest hog, and elephants. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on the Kazinga Channel boat cruise. This narrow waterway linking Lake Edward and Lake George is home to hippos, lions, crocodiles, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.

Queen Elizabeth to Kazinga Boat Cruise

Kyambura Gorge, known as the Apes Valley, is located in the eastern corner of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Entering the gorge, you’ll marvel at the lush tropical rainforest and dense plant canopy. Birdwatchers can spot falcons, flycatchers, white-naped pigeons, and blue-headed bee-eaters. In the afternoon, you'll be transferred to the Ishasha sector for wildlife viewing, where you can witness lions climbing from tree to tree.

Kyambura Gorge

The Ishasha sector, in Queen Elizabeth National Park, is renowned for its tree-climbing lions and stunning landscapes, offering direct views of wildlife on the savannah. The next morning, head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with a picnic lunch provided en route. Upon arrival, relax and prepare for the exhilarating gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Kyambura Gorge

The highlight of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is gorilla trekking. Early morning, rangers will brief you at the park office before you begin your trek. This experience allows you to observe the daily lives of these gentle primates in their natural habitat. You can spend up to one hour with a gorilla family. After this incredible adventure, you will return to the lodge to relax.

Back to Entebbe from Bwindi

The Uganda safaris and trekking tour concludes on day eight. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. Alternatively, you can opt for an 8-hour drive, arriving late afternoon. We recommend flying for a more relaxing journey. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will catch your international flight, leaving with cherished memories of Uganda.
