Day 1
Upon arrival in Entebbe, our representative will warmly welcome you and facilitate your transfer to the hotel. Look for our guide under the canopy tents after clearing immigration. Once checked in, spend the day at leisure relaxing or exploring Entebbe with your guide, taking in its sights and experiences at your own pace.
Day 2
On the second morning of your Uganda gorilla tour, we'll transport you to Entebbe Airport for a light aircraft flight to Kasese Airstrip near Kibale Forest National Park. Your private driver and 4x4 vehicle will be waiting to escort you to your lodge. Alternatively, depart early with a packed breakfast for a direct drive to Kibale National Park. In the afternoon, explore the stunning Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, renowned for its diverse primate species and as a haven for birdwatchers with over 138 bird species.
Day 3
After an early breakfast, you'll venture into Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its diverse and concentrated primate population in East Africa. The park is best known for chimpanzee and gorilla sightings.At the park's visitor center, rangers will brief you before your chimpanzee tracking expedition. Kibale hosts a variety of primates such as Black and White Colobus monkeys, L’Hoest Monkeys, Grey-cheeked Mangabey, Red-tailed monkeys, bushbabies, and pottos. Bird enthusiasts can enjoy species like the yellow-spotted nicator, rumped tinkerbird, Little greenbul, green-breasted pitta, crowned eagle, and black bee-eater. Keep an eye out for elephants during your park exploration.
Day 4
On the fourth day of your Uganda gorilla tour, embark on a thrilling gorilla tracking expedition. After a briefing at the headquarters, venture into Bwindi's forests where the mountain gorillas roam. With only about 1,000 left worldwide, tracking them can take anywhere from two to eight hours. Spend up to an hour in their presence, forging a unique connection. It's a remarkable experience amidst stunning natural scenery. Return to your lodge after this unforgettable encounter.
Day 5
In the morning, you'll head to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight back to Entebbe. Upon arrival, you'll be guided to your onward international flight to Tanzania (Kilimanjaro International Airport), carrying fond memories of Uganda. After landing and completing immigration at Kilimanjaro, our local representative will greet you and transfer you to Arusha for an overnight stay.
Day 6
After an early breakfast at 6 AM, depart from your hotel for Lake Manyara. Enjoy a game drive and have lunch within the park. Later, drive to Karatu on the outskirts of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in time to check in at your resort and relax for the evening before sunset.
Day 7
Before sunrise, depart from your hotel with packed breakfast and lunch for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Spend the day exploring the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, renowned for its Big Five sightings. This natural wonder offers an overwhelming experience for first-time visitors. Return to your hotel by early evening to unwind and relax after a full day of adventure.
Day 8
After a hearty breakfast on day eight of your Uganda Trips, check out from your hotel and journey towards Central Serengeti. Passing through the Ndutu region, enjoy a game drive along the way. Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s oldest and most iconic reserve, is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, boasting Africa’s Big Five and over 500 bird species. Check in at Seronera, enjoy a leisurely lunch, and embark on an afternoon game drive, returning by sunset to relax overnight at your resort.
Day 9
After an early breakfast, venture into the Seronera region, renowned as the heart of Serengeti and famous for its tree-climbing lions. Return to your hotel by lunchtime for a break. After lunch, unwind before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Complete your exploration by early evening and return to relax at your lodge.
Day 10
On day ten, journey to Northern Serengeti to explore its pristine wilderness, breathtaking landscapes, and rich wildlife. Renowned for the annual migration, witness vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. The area also hosts a diverse resident wildlife population including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and rare oribi antelopes.After a morning game drive and breakfast, depart from your camp and drive to North Serengeti. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, return by late evening, and overnight at your camp.
Day 11
You will begin your eleventh day by doing a day-long game drive in Northern Serengeti. You will leave for the game drive with packed breakfast and picnic lunch. After enjoying the game drive, you will come back in the evening and rest overnight at the camp.
Day 12
Today, enjoy a leisurely morning with breakfast before heading to Zanzibar by flight. Optional morning game drives are available before checking out at 10 AM and transferring to Kogatende airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your beach resort. Relax for the remainder of the day, soaking in the island's beauty.
Day 13
After breakfast, unwind on the expansive white sandy beach. Explore Stone Town and iconic sites like the Rock restaurant, Prison Island, and spice markets. For sports enthusiasts, enjoy water sports such as snorkeling, scuba diving, and dhow cruises. Spend the evening at your resort with musical performances featuring local musicians playing traditional instruments, adding a cultural touch to your stay.
Day 14
Zanzibar, known as the "Spice Island," offers a blend of rich history and stunning natural beauty.
