Stay at Antananarivo

Upon arriving in Antananarivo, also known as Tana, you'll be greeted at the airport and driven to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Expedition to Masoala Forest Lodge

In the morning, you will be driven to the Maroantsetra. Upon arrival, you will board a boat for a two-hour voyage across Antongil Bay to the Masoala Forest Lodge, with chances to spot dolphins and whales. After settling in and enjoying lunch, spend the afternoon exploring the coastal forest and beaches, swimming, and taking a guided walk along the coast. Return for sundowners and dinner by the beach campfire.

Tampolo Aquatic Adventure

We start the third day with a breakfast buffet on the sea deck. Then, enjoy a guided walk through the coastal forest to spot birds and mammals. After a few hours, take a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the Tampolo River cascades. Return to camp by paddling a traditional dugout canoe. In the afternoon, snorkel among coral reefs on private beaches. The evening features a guided nocturnal walk to spot elusive wildlife, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Kayaking Adventure to Sacred Isle

After breakfast on the sea deck, embark on a sea kayak or boat to explore the serene waters and striking rock formations at Tampolo Point. Enjoy a swim at "Sacred Island" before kayaking into the pristine mangrove forests along the riverbanks, where blue-spotted stingrays and bamboo lemurs may be spotted. After a beach picnic, return to camp by kayak or boat for an evening of traditional Malagasy music and dance, followed by sundowners and dinner at the lodge.

Exploring Ambodiforaha Village

After breakfast on the sea deck, embark on a short guided walk through coastal forest trails to explore rice fields and the village of Ambodiforaha. Immerse yourself in Betsimisaraka culture, witness traditional houses, kitchens, and local crafts like weaving baskets and harvesting vanilla, cloves, and rice. Visit the village school co-funded by the lodge. Later, enjoy lunch and a stroll to Tampolo River for a tranquil pirogue trip observing local birdlife. End with sundowners and dinner at the lodge, completing your fifth day in Madagascar.

Nosy Mangabe Expedition

On the sixth day of your Madagascar honeymoon adventure, following an early breakfast on the sea deck, you'll embark on a boat journey to Nosy Mangabe Island. Once ashore on this lush, forested island, explore its network of trails guided by your expert, keeping an eye out for black-and-white ruffed lemurs, white-fronted brown lemurs, leaf-tailed geckos, and Madagascar tree boas. Discover traditional Malagasy tombs in caves and ancient rock engravings on "Plage des Hollandais". Enjoy a beach picnic before returning to Maroantsetra for an overnight stay at the hotel.

You will be transported to Maroantsetra airport to catch your flight back to Antananarivo (Tana). Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

You will be accompanied on a scenic drive to Tsarabanjina. Upon arrival, a hotel representative will greet you and escort you to the lodge, where you will spend the night.

Begin your day on Tsarabanjina Island with a delicious breakfast overlooking the ocean. Explore the island’s pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters, perfect for snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. Enjoy a guided nature walk to discover unique flora and fauna. After a leisurely lunch, relax in a hammock or partake in water sports like kayaking or paddleboarding. As the sun sets, unwind with a beachside dinner, soaking in the beauty of this tropical paradise.

Back to Tana

You will take a ferry back to Nosy Mangabe and be dropped at the airport in time for your flight back to Tana. Upon arrival in Tana, you will be met and taken to your hotel where you will spend overnight.

Departure

The last day of your Madagascar honeymoon is free for leisure. We'll arrange your airport transfer for your return flight. If you prefer, we can also organize a day-use room or provide a driver-guide for additional convenience.
