Rest for the night in Andasibe, surrounded by the forest's tranquil ambiance.

Andasibe and Mantadia Wilderness

The third day of your lemur safari begins with an extended exploration of Andasibe, then continues to Mantadia National Park with a knowledgeable guide. Mantadia is rich in flora, fauna, and lemurs, including the iconic Indri lemur known for its distinctive calls. You may also spot red-bellied lemurs, brown lemurs, lesser bamboo lemurs, and nocturnal species like the brown mouse lemur and aye-aye. After a full day, you'll spend the night in Mantadia National Park.

Andasibe to Palmarium Expedition

The day starts with a brief drive eastward to the Pangalanes canals. A 45-minute boat journey through interconnected lakes leads to Palmarium, a private reserve. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring lemurs or enjoying a swim in the lake. The night is accommodated in Palmarium.

The day starts with a guided forest walk to spot lemurs like Indri, black and red lemurs, Coquerel's sifakas, and black and white ruffed lemurs, ideal for up-close photography. Afternoon activities include optional pursuits like boat rides. Evening is reserved for a special trip to see the elusive aye-aye lemurs. Conclude your lemur safari with an overnight stay at Palmarium, marking the end of your adventurous journey.
